The story behind Purple.
Purple was developed by Think for the Future, an organisation focused on tackling disengagement in education by placing Behaviour & Resilience Mentors into schools across the UK and delivering a structured social and emotional learning curriculum. They recognised their positive impact but struggled to evidence it effectively to their partner schools, relying on numerous spreadsheets and time-consuming manual reports.
This challenge led to the creation of Purple, a quick and easy-to-use platform that allows not only the management team at Think for the Future, but also their mentors delivering on the ground as well as their partner schools to see the impact of their provision. Built in-house, Purple is tailored to meet the needs of each user and has evolved into a comprehensive data analysis system.
As the platform grew, other organisations in the education sector also saw the value of Purple for proving their impact to stakeholders as well as supporting staff working directly with young people. Now, many organisations and charities use Purple for its powerful yet user-friendly data analysis capabilities.
